Right!!! Finally we have it!  Today our friend Yaroslav and his wife Olga come in Naples to the Underground Museum of Cavour Plaza. After a run on a bus (just to see our caotic veicolar traffic  ) we have meet them at the Archeological Museum; Immediatly we have dressed our "work clothes"  , the frontal lamps and so on and, after a fast visit to the surface museum, we are descended into the "invisible territory" of Naples. It was a real time trip trought the greek acqueducts (some of this tunnels has almost 3000 years! ) the roman one and few water tanks. I think that Yarik and his wife has enjoined this little tour  (about two hours) and me and Fulvio are very happy to meet new friend of NapoliUnderground.
in few days we'll post on this forum Fulvio's pictures and, when Yarik wants, the "Russian pictures made in Naples!"
Finally, at the end of our tour, Yarik says me that probably in the future he'll returns to Naples; well, we can organize a real full immersion tour in the most amazing caves under Naples  . We'll wait for that day! We're glad to meet two new friends here in Naples! |

Yesss, we really enjoyed it!  I have never seen such subterraneans before. Great thanks to Luca and Fulvio!
A little photo announcement:
Other photos will be ready as soon as possible and will be published at my web-site. Besides this, we'll prepare photos of "on-ground" Napoli - it is also amazing, especially little and narrow streets and alleys...
Later I'll try to translate English-written pages about Napoli Underground into Russian. And I hope, together we'll prepare an article about it for our spelesto anual.
P.S. Special thanks to my Napoli friends for contacts of RomaSotterannea - we visited also some subterraneans there, photo:

Well, I'm very happy that you and your wife had a fun day in Naples and I hope to repeat this experiences togheter as soon as possible!
Let us the time to organize the way to collaborate whit you for NapoliUnderground in your language.... I know: it will be a succes!
For your article on the "spelesto annual" I'll work to it this week so, when ready, I'll send you a little story of Naples and his underground.

Hello, friends! How are you?
I have had a lot of work for recent time, so my "underground" life was poor. But now I have some time, and am ready to keep my promise to translate some texts into Russian! "Naples history" by Larry Ray is almost finished I'll give you a weblink, as it will be ready.
Then, one rather important thing. Your colleagues from Roma (Marco Placidi and Co) are going to visit Moscow in January or February, but they are not really sure now, as I understand. If they come, we would certainly show them some interesting places that we'd got I think, it could be interesting for you...
As for us (Olga and me), we will go to Paris from 28 December to 4 January. There are huge catacombs, and of course we intend to visit them! Maybe, you knows some of "catafils"? |

I'm very very happy that you can translate something of NUg in russian, tell us what is in your interest so we can translate it in english first! For the tour in Russia I'm sorry but I think it's no possible for me (now I have a daugther that is 7 months... you can understand me!
