Some time ago we made a working visit to the church of San Giuseppe delle Scalze a Pontecorvo to help locate an underground tunnel. Popular legend says that beneath this church, built in 1629, there is a secret passage that joins the church with Piazza Dante. But, alas, there is no secret passageway to be found! We found only an ancient burial-place.

We all felt strong personal emotions when, in a family grave, we saw the tiny bodys of twin sisters. One of the two bodies was still well preserved.
