The BBC produced a short and very informative video from their visit beneath Naples featuring many of the marvels of our "parallel city." We somehow missed posting a link to the 3 minute piece when it was broadcast last year. So, here is the link to their well-researched video introduction to the basics of the Naples underground.
The video even includes our dean of urban speleology, Clemente Esposito who hosted part of the tour in his own "Museum of the Naples Underground." Wonderful shots of the Fontanelle Cemetery with its hundreds of thousands of skulls from plague and cholera victims are included in the BBC presentation.
