Finally, it is time to take a breather from all the moving, re-sizing, re-filing and redesign work required to welcome you to our new Joomla-powered web site!
It is always tough to leave an accustomed format and make the move to new faster, more capable web innovations. But after more than nine and a half million visitor hits on our old site, and a desire to offer new technology like our live and interactive Nug TV presentations and on demand Speleo-related videos we have made the move. The new site is a work in progress and we invite you to poke around and discover new features while also rediscovering our fascinating gallery of photos and earlier articles. This is, of course, an Italian language web site with most of its links to articles in Italian.

This English language version concentrates on those articles that pertain to the incredible subterranean world beneath Naples and its outlying area and to translate them into English for our international readers. Stories of urban underground exploration of the countless cavities, aqueducts, tunnels,  passageways and tombs that date back to Greco-Roman times are unlike those to be found anywhere else on the web.

We are in the early stages of developing our English new language version of NUg. We also welcome your input of photos, videos and stories from your own visits to the area which we will post in our FORUM under "Contacts from Around the World

For a quick overview of the historic and mysterious "Parallel City" beneath Naples start your tour with a visit to this introductory article:

So, once again, welcome to our new format. WE hope you will visit often.
