Today was full of surprises. This morning our dear friend Marijke, "The flying Dutchman" dropped by and brought me a wonderful present: an attractive boxed set of four DVD's of the documentary series, "Cities of the Underworld," a popular program that visited the underground marvels of the most important cities in the world. Then a little later yet another great surprise.

Caret called me and said "Take a look at this …"  On the popular site, Scintilena, there it was … a great article, "Great Exploits of Napoliunderground on Alexa." This was really surprising. We were aware that our web site was steadily growing but had no idea whatsoever that we had reached such a level of popularity. According to international web census counter Alexa, napoliunderground.org is now in the top 100,000 most visited web sites in the world. I must say without a doubt this was wonderful news and above all to have learned about this in an article by Andrea Scatolini on the fabulous Italian speleological web site Scintilena.

Their article, in Italian, may be seen, with data graphs for their web site and also for napoliunderground.org which shows us with a steadily climbing graph line in the top 100,000!

A special thanks goes out to all our faithful readers, and to to all those who have worked to build and improve our web site. "Grazie a tutti!"
