The American caving scuba club UnderSea Adventures, together with a team from Seaproof TV, have put together a video documenting their exploration of an old underground nuclear missile silo in the high desert of the US state of Washington. During the cold war, the structure was the launch pad for the intercontinental Titan 1, a MIRV missile (multiple independently targetable reentry vehicle).
The divers went down to about 40 meters in the flooded well between the mysterious and intriguing abandoned structures left over from the terrible atomic era.
The participating divers were: Trisha Stovel, Russell Clark, Owen Ray, Otto Willie, Willie Karren, Gerard Willie e David Bruns.
