In Mexico, the joining of two underwater grottoes, Sac Actun and Dos Ojos, has formed the largest underwater karst system in the world.
Its 303 km length (precisely: 303,356.80 m) (about 188 miles) also makes it the second largest grotto, submerged or otherwise, in the world.
