Our friend, Prof. Jeff Matthews, adds to his articles on Subterranean Naples

Long time Naples resident and American expatriate scholar, Jeff Matthews, has written a number of articles on his popular “Naples Encyclopedia” site about the Naples ‘sottosuolo’ or underground. For English language readers, his wry humor and completely enjoyable historical articles can be a real delight. He has become a friend of napoliunderground.org in the past year, and our Webmaster, Fulvio Salvi, has taken Jeff on a tour of some of the representative marvels of the “Parallel City” beneath Naples.
